Our Background
The owner of the parent company, Kitchen Options, Inc., Ray Lentine, has been in the home remodel business since 1986. He was the northeast Sales Manager for Sears Home Central, which back in the 1990s, was the largest in-home remodeler in the country. Ray was in charge of the kitchen division, where they averaged over 1000 kitchens per year.
In and around 2004, K-Mart bought Sears. The new owners changed the product and the service, to where working for Sears/K-Mart was not to Ray's liking. He quit and started Kitchen Options and took the best people with him. Kitchen Options, in a very short time, became the largest independent refacing company in New England. Presently there are satellite offices in Rhode Island and Connecticut, with the main office in Oxford, Massachusetts.
